Our Mission 💙
BayonnePulse exists to capture the heartbeat of Bayonne, NJ. Think of us as your friendly neighbor with a notebook — sharing the stories, secrets, and sidewalk chatter that make our peninsula hum. Every issue is a love letter to Bayonne’s people, parks, pizza joints, and possibilities — delivered straight to your inbox, no fluff, no fuss.
What We Cover
Weekly Pulse — Bite-sized updates: city hall buzz, school scoops, and little news you’ll actually talk about at the bagel shop.
Spotlight Our Local Heroes — Deep dives on the dreamers and doers: local business owners, artists, and community champions.
Events Calendar — Hand-picked happenings, from Broadway openings to waterfront clean-ups (yes, we list the food trucks you are fancying these days).
Deep & Deeper Dives — Bayonne by the numbers: housing trends, school stats, budget breakdowns… explained like you’re chatting with a neighbor over coffee.
Why subscribe?
Clutter-free — No clickbait, no paywalls, no pop-ups. Just pulse-quickening Bayonne news.
Hyper-local — If it happens off the peninsula, you’ll hear it elsewhere. We’re all about Bayonne, period.
Community-powered — Your support keeps the local economy booming — so we can keep telling stories that matter.
Bottom Line: Click subscribe once, and we’ll do the rest. Once or sometimes twice a week ( a human-ish promise ), clarity, connection, and civic pride will quietly land in your inbox (like that one neighbor who always brings you surprise cookies).
Meet the Founder
Once the head of customer support, now the voice behind BayonnePulse, Sheetal believes thriving cities start with well-informed neighbors. When she’s not chasing a headline (or her toddler), she’s sketching UX wireframes, experimenting with Mediterranean recipes, or chatting with a local barista in Bayonne.
